FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation. A distinctive part of FIABCI’s international role is its relationship with the United Nations. FIABCI obtained UN roster consultative status in 1971 and has held Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 31 May 1996. This status reflects FIABCI’s recognised expertise in areas connected to sustainable development and allows it to contribute to international discussions within the UN framework.
